Are you early in your marketing career, love keeping up with online content, know what looks good, stay organised, and want a challenge?
If this sounds like you, we have a unique opening to join our team! You’ll help us grow our community and keep everything running smoothly across all our key platforms.
About the role
Location: Remote (UK/EU timezone preferred)
Type: Part-time
Start Date: ASAP
You'll work closely with our marketing team to manage and grow our digital presence, helping us reach new audiences and engage our loyal followers.
From publishing and scheduling social posts to updating our brand on Wikipedia and engaging in relevant forums, you'll be the voice of Secret Atlas across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Manage community engagement across platforms and respond to comments/messages in brand voice
- Monitor and contribute to relevant threads on Reddit, forums, and niche travel communities
- Update and maintain brand-related content on Wikipedia and similar sites
- Work with the team to repurpose blog content into bite-sized, engaging posts
- Identify relevant trends and audience insights for Arctic and expedition travel
- Maintain consistency and quality across all touchpoints for both visual and written content
What we’re looking for
- A background in marketing (degree or 1–2 years’ experience preferred)
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
- A sharp eye for detail and consistency in tone and visuals
- Well organised and experienced using scheduling tools
- An interest in remote destinations, storytelling, or adventure travel
- Bonus: Familiarity with SEO, basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express), or forum-based platforms
Why should you work with us?
We’re a small, friendly team working on unique Arctic expeditions, with plenty of room to grow. If you’ve got a passion for low-impact business, wildlife and nature, you’ll feel right at home.
We offer flexible hours, remote working, and the chance to get hands-on with content strategy, brand voice, and community building. There are opportunities to meet up with other team members in person, depending on where you're based. But no worries if that’s not possible, we stay connected with regular team calls, virtual team-building, and an annual in-person meet-up.
