Questions & Answers

My most transformative travel experience

Meeting the grey whales in the lagoons of Baja California was a very unique experience. Animals that were hunted close to extinction are now willingly interacting with humans and their vessels. On top of that, Baja California is also one of the most diverse places on the planet. Awe inspiring!

My exploration inspiration

One figure in history that inspires me is Alexander von Humboldt. His groundbreaking thoughts and ideas about interconnectedness are still part of the way we see the world today.

My dream adventure

I will be paddling the Thomsen River on Banks Island in the Canadian High Arctic. The Arctic tundra is an incredible biome and Banks Island has one of the – if not the – largest concentrations of muskox in the world. The wildflowers are vibrant during the short window of summer.
