My most transformative travel experience
Travelling solo around the world in my mid-twenties. New Zealand’s South Island’s glaciers and Milford Sound were particular highlights. Travelling throughout without a mobile phone, too – bliss!
My exploration inspiration
Darwin’s voyage aboard the Beagle from 1831 to 1836 gets my admiration. During the trip, Darwin made a lot of observations and gathered plants, animals, and fossils. Because of these observations, he came up with the theory of evolution by natural selection, completely changing scientific thinking – quite the legacy.
My dream adventure
So many places still on my bucket list, but I am planning a trip to hike and camp in Western Canada next summer.
